NONSTOP's PUB QUIZ HIT
Organised by our skipper, Geoff Evans, the NONSTOP Sail Pub Quiz went off with a bang on Sunday. Our very own office lass, Antonia generously put herself forward for the slave auction and raised £100! A bargain at twice the price. A great night out, don't miss the next one in six months time.

ONE LIFE LIVE - Stand B12
You only have one life - live it! That's the sentiment of the One Life Show and here at NONSTOP we're pretty firm believers in taking that attitude. If you're still looking for an exciting challenge or goal for 2008 then come along to Olympia and you'll be sure to find something that inspires you... maybe an 11-week Nordic Adventure?

THE CANARIES
... a week in the Canaries before the start of the ARC gave the NONSTOP crew a chance to soak up some local delights, including, Gran Canaria's Botanical Gardens, Las Palmas Cathedral, the beautiful old town of Toledo and a spot of flamenco dancing.

THERE SHE BLOWS!
Here she is! Sunning all 47 ft of her splendid self in the Canaries before her debut trip as a sailing school vessel on the ARC and trans Atlantic crossing. Nimrod is the third new Dehler to be added to the NONSTOP fleet and we're sure she'll keep all who sail in her comfortable and secure.

PUFFIN ADVENTURES
This summer the Around Britain's Scottish leg in particular brought with it a veritable feast of wildlife. Some of these beautiful creatures were seen at fantastically close quarters by our lucky NONSTOP crew and included seals, puffins, swallows and cormorants.

EARLS COURT BOAT SHOW
Visit the Boat Show to find out more about our new 'Adventure Sailing' programme for 2008. A great chance to meet our skippers, find out more about 'RYA courses' and to generally talk about the sport we all love - sailing. You'll find us at stand 1M56 at Earls Court, 01 - 09 Dec.

IT'S A BOY!
CONGRATULATIONS to Ben and Lisa! NONSTOP’s Chief Instructor and Sales Manager are celebrating the arrival of their 2nd baby, Edward Alexander Board, born Tuesday 23 October 2007 and weighing in at a healthy 7 lbs 1 oz. Well done to mum, dad and big sister Lilly.

BRAND NEW BOAT!!!
Nimrod is the latest addition to our ever expanding fleet. A beautiful Dehler 47, she'll be used for our Adventure Sailing programmes and sets sail for her maiden voyage, from 'Gibraltar to Gran Canaria' in October. Call us on 01803 835 988 to be part of the premier crew.

DARTMOUTH REGATTA 2007
What a week! Both Discovery and Endurance competed in the Regatta, coming 27th and 33rd respectively out of 35 in their class. The crews were in high spirits and did NONSTOP Sail proud partying hard every night.

Mean while some of the London office were let loose and joined the Dart staff talking the talk and walking the walk to spread the NONSTOP word until half of Dartmouth were wearing our freebie NONSTOP Sail caps. Luckily there was plenty of beer available to prevent them from going hoarse.

FASTNET RACE 2007
After a heroic effort Endurance & Discovery and crews are all safely in Plymouth having retired from the ' Fastnet'. Along with the majority of the other boats in their class, they made the sensible decision to withdraw. due to severe the weather conditions.

AROUND BRITAIN LOG
The first of this year's Around Britain crews have left and are sailing around Scotland as I type. All is well aboard the good ship Frangi and you can follow their progress in, 'Quotes from the boats'

HAPPY SAILORS
Another group on one of our Dartmouth courses experiencing the luxury of a 'brand new Dehler 39', under the watchful eye of Geoff. It was smiles all round on their return; ah, it gives us a warm fuzzy feeling inside to have satisfied customers.

WIN £250 OF FAT FACE CLOTHING
NONSTOP Sail and Fat Face have teamed up so that if you book a course for July or August you will be entered into a draw to win £250 of Fat Face clothing.

TRANSATLANTIC FINISH
Frangi and crew made it home to Dartmouth this week after a final bit of excitement 200 miles SW of the Bishop's Rock, (near to the Scillies). The winds measured force 10 at times but they battled it out and returned triumphant!

TRANSATLANTIC UPDATE
The Atlantic crossing from St Maartin to Flores took exactly 16 days and 6 hrs, covering 2,401 nm at an average of 148 nm per day. Fishing was very successful with Dorado and Swordfish of around 15 – 20lb, delicious! From Flores they sailed across to Horta for a few days R & R. The weather has been kind so far with only about 6 hrs of F6/7 and the rest of the crossing in F4/5 conditions. The crew are all in good spirits and have settled into the daily routine. They have climbed the volcano on Pico and have put their wall painting above last year’s Frangi painting. Having departed for Grasciosa on Friday morning they are now heading towards St Mary's in the Scilly Isles.

BORDEAUX WINE TOUR
Aboard our Dufour 455, become one of the premier crew on our Bordeaux Wine Tour and visit some of the world’s best vineyards by sea. “A fantastic opportunity to improve your sailing as well as your palette!”

OUR LAUNCH COMPETITION WINNERS
Dartmouth Primary School in-undated us with their treasure map entries for our launch competition, making it very tough to choose a winner. However, we managed to whittle it down to the top five who joined us for a days sailing on Discovery. Also on board were the seniors from the Community College who had produced winning essays on their favourite explorer.

THE LAUNCH
The crowds gathered, despite the driving rain, for the blessing and speeches on the pontoon, before running for cover in the Yacht Club where we drew the prize winners whilst enjoying nibbles and a glass of fizz.

CARIBBEAN CIRCUIT 1 COMPLETE
It seems the Caribbean Circuit was a huge success with reports from all concluding that this is the place to go sailing. Aah, life in the sunny Carib!

SEA TRIALS
The new boats on their maiden sail in the Solent. The boats were great to sail and the branding looks awesome.

2 YACHTS IN AROUND BRITAIN
After a very successful Around Britain in 2005, this summer we will be running two Around Briain's with the first starting in July. We are also expecting a second HR 49 to join Frangi for the first voyage. With two yachts cruising and perhaps even racing around our beautiful shores, it guarantees to be an experience of a lifetime.
