WHAT'S THE PLAN?

The first passage is crossing the Channel to Guernsey, your experienced instructor will guide the yacht across the world’s busiest shipping lane giving you plenty of opportunity to see a variety of ships. After arriving in Guernsey you will spend a few days island hopping between, Sark, Herm, Alderney and Jersey. Each has something to offer from quiet secluded beaches, bustling fishing harbours, wonderful cliff top walks, delicious restaurants and plenty of heritage.

You will then head south to the Brittany Coastline, arguably France’s most spectacular and rugged coastlines. The harbours and towns are rich in culture, tradition and sailing history. These are some of the possible ports of calls:
  • Lezardieux
  • Treguier
  • Morlaix
  • L’Aber Vrache
The return channel crossing will be to the Isles of Scilly (weather permitting). 28 miles off Land’s End in the far South West of Britain these five inhabited isles offer white sandy beaches, azure sea and with such a small population they really are pollution free. We then sail back to the mainland via Falmouth and Fowey. Falmouth is steeped in maritime history as the Maritime Museum will show you and is the most southern port in the UK. Fowey is a beautiful Cornish harbour just up the coast from Falmouth and the perfect place to enjoy your last evening on this adventure.
