  RYA SAILING COURSES
INTERNATIONALLY RECOGNISED RYA SAILING QUALIFICATIONS

NONSTOP Sail actively supports the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) in its efforts to promote the highest standard of sailing and safety in the UK. Whether a complete beginner or regular sailor, our instructors will ensure that you are taught to deal with all the elements, respect the seas, experience life under sail and most importantly have a great time.

To find out what course is best suited to you, have a look below.

5 DAY COURSE

Arriving around 1730hrs, you will spend the evening meeting the crew, provisioning the yacht and enjoying a meal on board. Monday morning is spent getting to know the yacht on the River Dart before setting sail after lunch. Port visits may include Brixham, Salcombe, The River Yealm, Plymouth and Fowey (Cornwall). You will stay overnight, mooring at anchor, harbour authority moorings or less frequently private marinas.

The yacht will return to Dartmouth on Friday lunchtime and after an hour of cleaning up, you are normally off the boat by 1500hrs.

7 DAY COURSE

This course is similar to the five day course except you have have more time to understand the course and the option to sail a little further. We travel over 300 miles experiencing three 60 mile passages, an overnight passage and a shipping lane crossing. Frequently visited ports are St. Malo, The Isles of Scilly and The Channel Isles.

The yacht will return to Dartmouth by 1000hrs on Sunday, and you can usually leave at around 1200hrs after a clean up.
