  ANTIGUA RACE WEEK
RACE HARD, PLAY HARD AT ANTIGUA RACE WEEK

10 days of racing and partying are what you can expect from Antigua Race Week. An ‘all class’ competition, it draws novices and professional yachtsmen alike, from all over the world. One of the top five Regatta's world wide and the biggest in the Caribbean, it's a high profile event with a laid back vibe!

Day one with the NONSTOP Sail team allows you to acclimatise and meet your fellow crew mates, perhaps indulging in a sundowner or two. Then Sunday morning sees an early start for the first day's racing, English Harbour to Dickenson Bay. The day ends with the Dickenson Bay Beach Bash and this pretty much sets the standard and the pace for the rest of the week!

Beer and sailing

Beach BBQs, steel bands, balls, pig roasts, fancy dress parties, wet T-shirt competitions, reggae music and oh, a bit of racing are all the norm from Antigua Race Week but you'll be pleased to hear that mid week there's a lay day for a bit of R&R. That's just from racing mind, there's no rest for the wicked from partying!

The final race takes place Saturday 03 May, followed by a prize giving ceremony and the 40th Anniversary celebrations, which will almost certainly continue well into the early hours of Sunday morning. As a result Sunday is dedicated purely to recovery and you're welcome to stay on board one more night before wending your weary way home on the Monday.
