  CORK WEEK 2008
RACE AT IRELAND'S LARGEST REGATTA - CORK WEEK

NONSTOP Sail is providing you with the chance to take part at Cork Week 2008, a unique and exciting regatta that only occurs every other year.

In addition we’re also taking part in the Cork Week feeder race, ‘Big V’; sailing from Cowes to Cork it attracts the majority of the English fleet.

Big V provides the perfect training opportunity and plenty of time for team bonding prior to Cork Week, by which stage the crew will be a well oiled racing team.

We have seven places available on this fantastic package which includes:
  • Fully qualified RYA instructor
  • ‘Big V’
  • 2 training days in Cork
  • Cork Week Regatta
  • Brand new Dehler 39 with race sails
  • Delivery sail back to Dartmouth (optional extra)

  THE HISTORY OF CORK WEEK
WHAT MAKES CORK WEEK TICK

Cork Week lasts for seven days, from the 12 Jul - 19 Jul and is Ireland’s largest regatta with 500 entries competing across 20 classes. It’s famous for promoting the interests of the ‘ordinary’ sailor and ensuring that the professional boats and crews don’t dominate the regatta.

NONSTOP are competing in the ‘Corporate Class’, specifically for sailing schools. As such we have an excellent opportunity to race against similar boats and crew, all adding to the fun and excitement.

Cork Week, with all its Irish hospitality is as renowned for its onshore activities as it is for the racing. Fantastic live bands, playing folk, pop and even disco ensure you will be partying the night away with plenty of the black stuff!
